Yamaha NMax

The Nmax is a maxi scooter manufactured by Yamaha. It is the entry level maxi scooter of Yamaha, slotted below the XMax and PMax. The Yamaha NMax 155 has a SRP of 109,000 PHP or roughly 2,250 USD. The NMax 155 is powered by a 155 CC single cylinder liquid cooled engine. It has 14.8 horsepower and 14.4 Newtons meter of torque. It is paired with the continuously variable transmission. Fuel capacity is at 6.6 liters and fuel consumption is estimated at 44 km. per liter.

Getting on the NMax is easy like any other scooters. Its seat height is at 765 mm. Anyone with a height of around 5'9" would not have any difficulties when standing while the scooter is stopped. You also 2 options on when to place your feet when riding. To start the engine of the NMax, you just need to insert the key, turn it to the ignition position and press the starter button while holding the brakes.

The NMax is equipped with automatic multi-reflector LED low and high beam headlights. The park-lights are multi-reflector halogens. In the rear you get a combination of LED taillights. It has a ground clearance of 135 mm. the suspension is telescopic and unit swing on the rear. The NMax is equipped with 13 inches wheels with a tire size of 100-70-13 MC in front and 137-70-13 MC in the back. Tubeless tires comes as standard and you get both single disc brake on each wheels. The high and low beam button for the headlight together with the signal light and horn button can be found on the left handle bar. It is also equipped with digital instrument cluster that shows the clock, speedometer and fuel level while the trip monitor shows the odometer, oil mileage, belt mileage, instantaneous fuel economy and average fuel economy.

The underneath storage can be accessed by turning the key to the left. The seat is equipped with spring mechanism which make it much easier when storing items. The storage capacity can fit a half faced helmet. The fuel tank is located in the footwell and you also have a deep storage in front that can store bottle water or your cellphone.
